It has been way too long since our last update mainly because of a very small bump in the road. But to make a long story short, some incidences happened that made Andrew and I finally decide to put our minds at ease and have Joseph screened for some behaviors that have puzzled us since he was a baby. We felt like this was best for all of us before going forward with bringing another child into our home. We made this decision right after the homestudy visits were completed but before the homestudy was finalized. So finally, after several weeks have passed waiting for appointments, we can go forward with finalizing the homestudy and onto completing the dossier (all documents required for approval from China.)
In the meantime, we've enjoyed time as a family this summer, had a blast in the Gatlinburg area, and just finished a backyard bible club at our home this week! God is so good!
