January 17, 2012 Villa Hope Formal Application sent in!

February 2, 2012 China Information Meeting at Villa Hope

February 4, 2012 Mailed fingerprinting and application for criminal checks to SBCN

March 22, 2012 Home Study Caseworker assigned! First visit scheduled for April 3.

April 30, 2012 Last of 4 visits with social worker for Home Study complete!

July 18 Homestudy Approved-begin work on dossier!

October 6, 2012 Finally mailed in last documents to be approved by Secretary of State! Returned and Authenticated October 11.

October 17, 2012 Dossier sent through courier for approval at U.S. Dept of State and then Chinese consulate.

November 5, 2012 Dossier returned with Authentications from US Dept of State and Chinese Embassy!

November 16, 2012 Dossier mailed to be registered in China

November 29, 2012 Received confirmation of dossier arrival in Beijing

December 5, 2012 Log In date-dossier accepted in China

March 25, 2013 Referral emailed at 11:05pm.

March 26, 2013 Letter of Intent and Family treatment plan emailed to Villa Hope at 8:23pm

April 8, 2013 Received Pre-Approval from China

April 29, 2013 Received Letter of Approval!

May 2, 2013 Letter of Approval mailed along with i800!

May 3, 2013 Sent Care Package

May 21, 2013 Care package received in China, mailed off visa applications

May 22, 2013 Receipt for i800 (form i797)

May 25, 2013 National Visa Center- i800 forwarded to consulate in Guangzhou,

June 1, 2013 passports returned to us with visas!

June 19, 2013 received notice that Article 5 has been issued!

July 8, 2013 Travel Approval!

July 25, 2013 Leave for China!
